Sitting, Waiting, Wishing.

Just like Jack Johnson's song...That's what I'm doing. Firstly, the Community Theater Society (CTS - spreading environmental and community awareness through drama and games) are still waiting for the thumbs up from the USPSA...I don't know what's happening. Will get my facts soon! Secondly, I am done with doing the whole student life and part-time thing during the weekends (I love talking on the radio...best job ever!) but I need a holiday or some getaway soon and fast! The last thing I need is a burnout and some depression. Today was such a day. Had spent the whole night at the emergency room at the hospital to visit my cousin who was so unfortunate to be involved in a bus collision. Luckily she's ok, especially her unborn *phew*. Just a minor back pain. So I spent the night talking to her, Joe, mom and Leone. Time flew and then something terrible happened before my eyes...A man was rushed in and was later pronounced dead (His wife and sons were teary and I couldn't help but cry inside). Ok so I slept at 1am, woke up at 9 this morning...It was sort of late to do the laundry so the dishes were done, ironed something for a day in uni, showered happily and went off to catch two buses to my good old college/uni. Got a call from Nat as soon as I stepped off the bus (I have no funds!) and was told about Bodybody (some guy) going to class. Hence the running up in a red sun-dress and Lee 3/4 khakis past a few stare bears...Met Lui, made fun of Nat's ordeal and sat in a 2 hour tutorial watching my new tutor confuse me for Natalyn whilst Nat was called Chantelle (insult or what!?)... Class was over in a very boring hour and we later embarked on a technicolour life span of laughter, concern, food, boys and the usual waving at people. Fast-forward to 5pm, I walked up the stairs to my place talking to Chubs (my dog) like it was the first time ever to see such cuteness! Watched a few cartoons and felt so hyped that I even cleaned up the house, did the laundry, cooked Chub's food, jumped around to some music and turned on this PC to check my mail and chat. Life is pretty much amazing as it seems. Sometimes you think you're living a routine but none the less it's the little details in life that seems to break that cyle. Or matter of fact, you can always change the way you think about your life. Optimism is great! But if some situation gets you down in the dumps, talk to a friend...Watch a movie (or a cartoon like I usually do), dance, run, laugh...I don't know...But be sure to enjoy it.
(WARNING: If I said something utterly crazy, bare in mind that my PMS days could be up so please excuse me!)
I've been enjoying the weekly gym routines...thanks to Lynne for pushing me everyday (even while I'm day-dreaming on some fancy gym equipment *thingy-majigy*).
